I love love love mango! It is my favorite fruit by far, so much so that I experiment with every recipe possible, just adding it in to see if it might taste good. Today I will share with you my newest obsession….. Mango Salsa. And I do not mean mango salsa with chips, or with tacos, or even with rice and beans. You heard me right the first the first time, Mango Salsa all on its own.
I had such a busy day today and I had no time to make any food so… you guessed it…. Salsa! Straight from the jar and definitely shipped directly from heaven. I probably ate about half a jar until I forced myself to stop, making sure that I had plenty for tomorrow’s craving as well. So the main points to get from this little post today:
1) Mangos are awesome
2) Mangoes with tomatoes are sensational
3) Mangoes in Salsa are mangotastic!
Oh ya, I must mention that it’s not only extremely satisfying, but its a Vitamin A and C powerhouse. Taste and health all rolled up in one pretty sweet and spicy package.
Did I mention it is only 10 calories per 2 tablespoons? Alright! Now we’re talkin’!
