Budget Friendly Organic Shopping

We all have become more than aware about how imperative it is to eat organic foods, but sometimes it’s not always the most cost effective. The following is a list created by the Environmental Working Group of the highest and lowest pesticide contaminated fruits and vegetables. By referring to these lists, shopping organic will no longer be such a burden on your wallet.

As for other foods products, remember to always purchase organic corn, wheat, soy, dairy, eggs and meat. While these are pricier, you will be saving yourself not only from genetically modified foods but also from a long list of additives such as hormones, antibiotics, pesticides and other harmful chemicals. Plus, you will actually be getting nutrients from your food. What a novel idea!

One more great trick to add to your list is a simple mineral spray called Polar Mins. This product is by Premier Research Labs and is a 100 to 1 concentrate of minerals from the Antarctic Ocean. Meaning 1 gallon of Polar Mins is equal to the minerals found in 100 gallons of ocean water. The highly dense minerals actually break the phosphate bonds of pesticides, so when you spray it on your food, it will actually make conventional food okay to eat. While it will not be as nutrient dense, at least you will not be ingesting the harmful toxins.
