We are all on the go, all want to make healthier choices, and today’s smoothie will help you do exactly that! This smoothie is packed full with the best nutrients for a healthy body both inside and out and can easily be taken with you to keep you energized all day long. While I like to make this a meal replacement by adding protein powder and some extra superfoods, you can always keep it simple and enjoy it as a snack. That is why I love this blueberry smoothie for anti-aging.

The Superstars of the Blueberry Smoothie for Anti-Aging:

 

Blueberries: One of the best fruits on earth that is packed with antioxidants, which are known to prevent aging, disease and cancer. These guys will help to protect you from any toxins that you are exposed to or any “naughty” choices that you might make.

Mango: Mangoes are rich in enzymes and pectin, which are vital to supporting a healthy digestive system. This is important, because the more efficiently you digest your food, the more nutrients you can extract from the food you eat and the less toxins are created. As a result, you have a cleaner bloodstream and brighter skin.

Carrots: These guys are the mother of Vitamin A which keep the whites of the eyes bright and your night vision stellar. Not to mention, carrots contain Vitamin C, which is essential for collagen protection and therefore wrinkle prevention.

Beets: Beets are a unique source of phytonutrients called betalains.
