Vegan and Healthy Animal-Style Fries

I know I am not the best food photographer in the world, but simply put this recipe can never look all that glamorous. But…. if I was able to invite you offer to try it, you would agree with me and it would be undeniable… these Vegan and Healthy Animal-Style Fries ROCK.

Even the best of us get a hankering for those certain meals or dishes that you used to LOVE indulging in, but are always faced with our new found conscience of what we are putting in our bodies, and how that is going to affect us. Well, the other day I was passing In-N-Out Burger (for all of you not from California, this is our fast-food relic, that holds in infamy the ability to put out the most delicious fast food possible) and had a crazy craving for animal-style fries.

Animal-style fries are essentially french fries topped with “secret” sauce, caramelized onions and melted cheese, and OMG are they delicious! They are not actually on the menu, much like many other of their customized items, you must be in the “know” to be privy enough to order such an amazing concoction.

So in an attempt to achieve that state of taste-bud rapture once again, without the digestive pain and guilt, I created my own HEALTHY version!!! Fabulous I know. And I know you are all wondering… how in the world can this recipe be vegan and tasty…well that is for you to find out!
