The day has come that truly captures the wonderment of summer, the 4th of July. While many of us have no idea really what the holiday is for, at least we can appreciate the fact that it is a day to spend with your family and friends enjoying the beautiful summer weather, fabulous food and lots of laughs. Whether you are spending the day at a BBQ, on the beach, or just a lazy day at home, I hope you soak in plenty of “me” time and get a chance to let go of everything else you are holding onto. As for me, I will be starting my day off with a long walk on the beach with my boyfriend, followed by my favorite yoga class, and then onto some volleyball and a tan with some friends on the beach. Not to mention, I will be most certainly be enjoying some of these delicious new summer recipes.
