Welcome! I am Lauren and I will be your guide to inspiring your quest to health and wellness today.

Much like many of you, I have been on a journey to transform myself into the healthiest person that I can be. I was inspired to embark on such a journey because of many long standing problems that I was no longer willing to deal with. I had a chronic foggy head, frequent hives, insomnia, pms, hair loss, low energy and worst of all irritable bowel. Meaning I could not eat anything that had any trace of fat in it. Talk about no fun!

While I always thought that I was healthy, meaning I ate relatively well and exercised often, I kept getting sick and worst of all, I just did not feel that great. My dad always put it so well “Lauren, you are the unhealthiest, healthy person I know.” So, after the millionth night of not being able to fall asleep for 3 plus hours, I decided to make a life change. I began to delve into health books, see alternative practitioners and even changed my college coursework to nutrition.

Slowly but surely, I began to see differences. But the biggest difference came with the change in my mindset. I am absolutely, positively in love with the healthy lifestyle. The green juice in the morning, the daily hikes, the decadent raw cacao desserts, external detoxification mud packs, non-toxic skin care, my Chinese herbal tinctures, gardening, positive thinking…. and that is just the beginning!

Now, 9 years later, I have not only changed my life, but have helped others changed theirs as well. I have been fortunate enough to have worked in a successful private practice, head a weight-loss program for the mentally disabled and work as an account executive for an international professional supplement manufacturer and distributor. With many practitioners and health-minded enthusiasts by my side, I have been able to create The Holy Kale so I can share with you all that I know, in hopes of inspiring you to change your life as well.

    I was curious about your kidney cleanse. Do you consult actual people anymore? I would love some help and instructions and of course would pay you. I know you talked about having a practice and didnt know where it was located so maybe I could see you or do something over the phone. I am having some pain in my kidneys after doing another sort of cleanse and am looking for something to help. Thank you so much!!
