I was wondering what can be used safely to help combat all of the static that builds up in the clothes in the dryer. I’ve heard that dryer sheets aren’t good either.

Hi Mary,
Static cling usually occurs from over drying your clothes and can be avoided if you lower the temperature a bit and shorten the drying time slightly. If there is a slight amount of moisture left in the clothes it will prevent the cling. Secondly, you can also try adding 1/4 cup of vinegar to the wash cycle as well, this is shown to be effective as well in many cases. Thanks for the question!

Lots of good ideas here. There’s really no end to the research you could do. I could use a shower filter, the one you have here is reasonably priced. The water supply in my town is completely pure, from a mountain watershed where people are not allowed to go (Cedar River). Yet due to a newer national regulation the city was required to start adding chlorine, and I noticed the change in my hair immediately, it’s much less soft.

My teen daughter and I love the products from 100% Pure. If you live in California, you may be lucky enough to have a store nearby, but we order online. Wonderful, fruit-pigmented, non-toxic products!
