Since the cleanse is not that long in length, your iron levels should be fine. You can focus on plant-based iron rich foods instead (here is a list). You can then go back to organic meat afterwards. As you mentioned, the yellowing of the eyes can often be from a stagnant liver so working towards that cleanse is great. As for corn silk tea, don&#039;t worry about it not being paleo, it is not made the actual corn, but the plant strands.]]></description>

I have been doing the paleo lifestyle/diet for three years and ever since, I&#039;ve felt so much better and many health issues I&#039;ve had, such as chronic fatigue, painful periods, foggy memory, etc. have disappeared.  Basically, I haven&#039;t felt this vibrant since my teenage years.  I actually just turned 33-years-old a couple of weeks ago.  With that being said, one issue I have that hasn&#039;t disappeared with a paleo diet, but has improved some, are my yellow-ish eyes.  They&#039;re not &quot;yellow, yellow&quot;, but they aren&#039;t vibrant white either like they used to be when I was younger.  They also have red veins that don&#039;t go away.  Since I was 14-years-old til&#039; I decided to do the paleo diet, I used to stay away from red meat and other meats, except seafood and this is probably what caused me to be anemic, which also led to the yellowing of my sclera.  I would like to know, do you think it&#039;s all right to consume red meat that is 100% grass-fed or wild during this cleanse?  I only consume meat from clean sources and only eat organic produce.  I eat plenty of fermented foods and don&#039;t eat overly processed foods, too.  In fact, I make pretty much most of my meals from scratch and I don&#039;t go out to eat at restaurants much at all.  Also, since I don&#039;t have major health issues, would it be all right to just do the tea cleanse?  I know corn silk is from corn and corn isn&#039;t paleo, but I&#039;m willing not to be strict paleo and try the tea cleanse.  I have good, regular bowl movements, as well.  My goal is to eventually do the liver and gallbladder cleanse to rid of my jaundice-like eyes, but I know you recommend to do the kidney cleanse first.
